Dr. Michael Stolz, ViF Supervisor
After finishing his studies in mechanical engineering in 2002 at the technical university of Graz, Dr. Michael Stolz worked for six years in automotive industry at AVL-List GmbH as a development engineer for diesel control algorithms. In 2009 he changed to the virtual vehicle research center elaborating his PhD thesis within a founded cooperation project on the topic of diesel control, which he finished in 2013 at the Institute of Automation and Control of the technical university of Graz. Since 2014 he is responsible for the Control Systems group at the virtual vehicle research center. Main working areas are: automotive control; control architectures; control oriented real time modeling and simulation; automated driving.
