MSc Eugenia Dalmau, Early Stage Researcher 15, MD5
Eugenia Dalmau was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on December 19, 1986. She graduated as “Licenciada en Ciencias Fisicas” (equivalent to MSc degree in Physics) in 2015. She works as Math and Physics teacher since she was young. Since November 2012 she was working at Fate Tires Company in Argentina, where she carried on her main research in Tire Noise and Vibration. As a result, her Master Thesis was about the study and characterization of normal modes of a tire for a passenger car and its influence in vibration and confort. In the last months she got involved in the tire dynamic group, a new born project for the simulation and testing of vehicle performance. Besides the research, she also coordinated the tasks with the managers of the diferent groups in Fate that play a part on this tests, acting as a liaisen between the Tyre Test Center and the researchers. Nowadays she is a Marie Curie Fellow with hosting at Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany, where she is working in vehicle off-road driving environment for MAGV dynamics control, focusing her research tasks in the simulation and testing of tire dynamic.
