The 15th IFAC Symposium on Control in Transportation Systems (CTS 2018) was held on June 6-8, 2018, in Savona Campus, a branch of the University of Genova, Italy. The Symposium provided an interesting opportunity for the academic and industrial communities to investigate new ideas, to share innovative solutions, and to discuss future research directions in the area of control in transportation systems. The main scope of the Symposium refers to the development of automatic control methods and tools for the analysis, supervision and management of transportation systems.
ITEAM project was present on a special session organized on Thursday, 7. June 2018. In total 6 Technical papers and 1 joint paper of ITEAM consortium presenting ITEAM project was presented. Two authors (three authors for the whole conference) were nominated as finalists for IFAC Young Author Award Sebastiaan van Aalst and Zlatan Ajanovic. At a banquet dinner Zlatan Ajanovic was awarded a winning plaquete.
The special session titled as: “Intelligent Multi Actuated Ground Vehicles: The ITEAM Project Perspective”. It was chaired by Ivanov, Valentin (Tech. Univ. Ilmenau) Co-Chaired by Ferrara, Antonella (Univ. of Pavia) with the organization of Regolin, Enrico (Univ. of Pavia).
